The short version

This app does not collect your data. There is no account, no login, and no server that receives anything from you. Everything you do in the app stays on your iPhone.

What the app stores, and where

The app saves your study progress on your own device: which questions you have answered, which ones you got wrong or bookmarked, your practice-test results, your diagnostic results, your study streak, your language choice, your reminder setting, and which packages you have purchased.

That information is stored locally using the operating system's standard storage. It is not transmitted to us, and we have no way to read it. If you delete the app, it is deleted with it.

What we do not do

The daily reminder

If you turn on the daily study reminder, iOS asks you for permission to show notifications. The reminder is scheduled on your own device by the operating system. No notification server is involved, and turning the reminder off removes it. It is off by default.

Content updates

When you choose to download a content update, the app fetches a file of questions and guides from our web server, the same way a browser fetches a page. That request carries no identifier, no account, and nothing about your progress. Our web host records the standard technical data of any web request (such as an IP address) in its ordinary server logs; we do not use those logs to identify or profile anyone.

Reporting a question

"Report this question" opens your own email app with a message addressed to us, pre-filled with the question's identifier. Nothing is sent until you decide to send it, and what you send is an ordinary email from your own account.

Purchases

Every package is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple tells the app only whether the purchase was completed, and the app stores that answer on your device so your content stays unlocked.

If you reinstall the app or move to a new iPhone, "Restore purchases" asks Apple again. That exchange is between your device and Apple.

Apple's own handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not by this one.

Children

This app is a study tool for adults preparing for a professional healthcare certification. It is not directed at children, and it does not knowingly collect information from anyone of any age.

Third-party components

The app is built with standard Apple frameworks and a small number of open-source plugins: local storage, in-app purchase, opening links in the browser, drawing the illustrations, and scheduling the local reminder. None of them collects personal data, and each one ships the privacy manifest Apple requires.

About the content

The questions, explanations, calculation problems and guides in this app are written by us. The domains and their weights come from the test plans and content outlines published by each certifying body, and every explanation cites the public authority it rests on — the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, OSHA, the CLIA regulations, the FDA, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the National Institutes of Health and its National Library of Medicine, the World Health Organization, and others named in the app — so that you can check it against the source yourself.

We do not reproduce text from any textbook or from any paid standard. We do not reproduce any real exam question.

This app is an independent study aid. It is not official and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA), the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), any school or training program, any test administration company, or any publisher. All names of examinations and organizations are used only to describe the exams this app prepares for.

Your rights

Laws such as the GDPR in Europe and the CCPA in California give you the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information a company holds about you. We hold none. There is nothing for us to look up, correct, hand over, or erase, because nothing ever leaves your device.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Because the app collects nothing, we do not expect substantive changes.
